Renplan has secured a planning permission for a 132kV substation development. Further details are available on request. Please call to discuss.

Renplan has successfully secured planning permission for 18 twin-unit holiday lodges at a site in the North York Moors National Park. The site will provide valued additional holiday accommodation; helping promote new holiday accommodation opportunities for visitors to the National Park and diversify the economy of the local area.

We have successfully secured a new 20MW peak generation development near Lilbourne, Daventry. The development is expected to form an important back-up generation facility for the area.

Renplan were pleased to secure planning permission for a 20MW gas powered stand by / peak generation development in Harborough District. The facility was well located despite being on  greenfield land and will prove an important back-up facility to the Grid.

Planning permission has been secured for the conversion of a former factory site in Bristol to provide 9 flats. No car parking could be provided with the development, however with the good transport links and on-site cycle storage, the regeneration of the area through the re-development of this building will provide a sustainable new use for the building into an existing residential area. Call us for further information.

Renplan are proud to have secured planning permission for an 11MW gas generation scheme on greenfield land in the Oxfordshire Green Belt.

The development is well located having regard for sensitive receptors and well screened from the surrounding landscape.

The development will make a valuable contribution towards securing long term energy security on the local district network; supplementing the mains stream generation to ensure the continued supply of power to the local community and business.

10 Hill Road, Worle

Planning permission has been granted for a single detached dwelling on a backland development plot in Worle. The constraints of the site was the relationship of the surrounding dwellings with that which was being proposed and therefore a carefully single storey dwelling with accommodation within the roof ensured that a proposal was deemed acceptable by the local planning authority North Somerset Council and planning permission was granted.

In partnership with a major energy developer, Renplan has been commissioned to prepare and submit a number of Peak Power Generation (PPG) developments across the United Kingdom. These developments are very similar to that of Short Term Operational Reserve (STOR) developments. They provide installed back up generation capacity to the National Grid as emergency cover in times of peak energy demand.

The National Grid is currently making contingent measures for potential future uncertainties in power supply throughout the United Kingdom. These PPG developments are essential infrastructure that will minimise the risks of future ‘black-outs’; particularly at a time when renewable energy developments are being phased in as an energy source to replace that of burning fossil fuels. Prevailing renewable developments cannot currently offer a guaranteed continuous supply of energy.

5 planning applications have already been submitted by Renplan for these developments. A further 10 are expected to be submitted during 2016.
